How We Got Started
We are a very small breeder and may only produce a litter once every 1-2 years.. Originally we did not plan on becoming breeders, we just wanted a wonderful pet for ourselves. However, we soon became hooked and obsessed with the breed!
After acquiring a lot of information about the breeding process, we decided to do our part in preserving it, which led to the birth of Laheto German Shepherds. Since then, we’ve known so much love, joy and excitement! Contact us to find out more about our next litter or to join our waitlist.

Animal Welfare Comes First
At Laheto German Shepherds, we continue to care about our animals long after they leave us. As such, it’s our strict policy to only sell to individuals or into service; we will never sell to pet shops or brokers. To make sure our animals get the forever home they deserve, we carefully interview all potential owners and have the pups professionally temperament tested at 6-7 weeks old.
